CITY MANAGER'S REPORT, PRESENTATION AND POSSIBLE DISCUSSION • Update: US Hwy 183 expansion project: Storm water contractor work, curbing, sidewalk, Section 1A, Pecan to Hickory 85% complete; milling and level-up paving in Section 1-B between Hickory and Blackjack has begun. Paving of 1A. • Report: Richland Drive drainage project scheduled to go out for bids in late November or December and possibly WichitaA/ega/Mesquite if property issue settled. • Report: Leaks in Library Annex. • Report: 8" of rainfall over weekend of October 23 - 25. • Report: Increased interest in Lockhart by larger job-creating companies. • Report: Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, Speaking of the Dead annual Caldwell County Historical group fund raiser at City Park and City Cemetery: Use of Library Annex due to rain. • Reminder: Due to rains, event moved from Saturday, October 24, to Saturday November 14, Dia de Los Muertos Festival from 12pm-10pm, downtown. • Reminder: Lockhart Chamber of Commerce along with the Tastes of the Trail Committee will host the 13th Annual Tastes Along the Trail event in the downtown on Saturday, November 14, 2015, between 1 and 5 pm.
