CITY MANAGER'S REPORT, PRESENTATION AND POSSIBLE DISCUSSION • Update: US Hwy 183 expansion project: Storm water contractor work, curbing, sidewalk, Section 1A, Pecan to Hickory 85% complete; milling and level-up paving in Section 1-B between Hickory and Blackjack has begun. • Update: 2015 CO Drainage Projects; properties and easement. • Update: Patton Road, often referred to as the dustiest road in town, between FM 20 and Center, has been chipped seal by the Street Department except for small section near FM 20 which will be paved with hot mix because of all the trucks coming and going out the fuel company. Will be working on Old Kelley Road and Lovers' Lane next. • Report: Oct 9 and 10 in City Park- Hill Country Cook Off. • Report: Oct 17, Saturday, 9 to noon at City Park, 8th Annual Keep Lockhart Beautiful Cleanup Event; planting along creek. • Reminder: Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, Speaking of the Dead annual Caldwell County Historical group fund raiser at City Park and City Cemetery. • Reminder: Saturday, October 24, Dia de Los Muertos Festival from 12 pm-10 pm, downtown. • Reminder: Saturday, October 24, Book/Jumble/Craft Sale at Clark Library from 9 am - 1 pm. • Reminder: Lockhart Chamber of Commerce along with the Tastes of the Trail Committee will host the 13th Annual Tastes Along the Trail event in the downtown on Saturday, November 14, 2015, between 1 and 5 pm. 7.
